Grounding Yoga and Fitness mat
The grounding yoga mat is 100% PVC-free and Latex-free. It has an anti-slip surface, and measures 61cm x 183cm (2ft x 6ft).Ideal for yoga, meditation, stretches, exercise, etc. It just requires some bare skin contact in order to ground the body. Alternatively, it can be used together with our highly conductive grounding socks.
Comes complete with a 4.6m (15ft) connection cord, and your choice of Earth connection.
Can be cleaned by wiping down with soapy water, using a non-abrasive cloth or sponge.
Material composition
We've sourced eco-friendly and non-toxic materials to produce a safe and premium quality grounding product.
The black top conductive layer (where your body makes contact) is made of PU (Polyurethane) leather. Leather look-alike items made with polyurethane (PU) are very consumer friendly and safe, unlike older PVC leathers. Our PU Leather is vinyl free, and phthalate free.
The black layer of PU leather is infused with conductive carbon. Carbon is the 2nd most abundant element in the human body after oxygen. The carbon is what conducts the Earth's energy.
The bottom, non-conductive layer is made of TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) closed cell foam. This is among the safest foam available. It is latex and PVC free. This is the same type of foam used in footwear, and in children's foam toys.

Connection plug for UK and Ireland

Connection for North America
The supplied cord fits directly into the 'Ground' pin of a North American type socket, used in Canada, the United States and Mexico. It can also be used in Central America, the Caribbean, northern South America (Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela and parts of Brazil), Japan, Taiwan and Saudi Arabia.
Since it is not uncommon for sockets of this type to be missing an Earth connection, this connection option includes a socket tester to verify correct socket wiring. You only need 1 tester per household, so you can choose the "without connection plug" option if you order additional products.
Note that not all outlet sockets of this type have a 3rd pin for Ground. Sockets with only 2 pins cannot be used for grounding, and so a grounding rod must be used instead.

Grounding rod kit
If you don't have a properly earthed mains outlet (for example some European houses or a pre-1960s house in the United States), then you can instead use a grounding rod kit to make a connection directly with the ground outside.
The kit consists of a 0.3m (1ft) stainless steel rod with a 12m (40ft) cord. The rod is pushed into the ground outside, which makes a good electrical connection to the Earth. The cord is only 2mm in diameter so it can usually be run through the edge of a window frame with the window closed.
